PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric transformer drive circuit coping with variation in a resonance frequency of a piezoelectric transformer without complicating the circuit.SOLUTION: An embodiment comprises a piezoelectric transformer 12, a switching circuit 14, and a control circuit 16. At least for a first time period (T1), the control circuit 16 consecutively repeats a sweep taking a fixed or variable second time period (T2(<T1)) and changing frequencies of a switching drive signal in a frequency range including a resonance frequency of the piezoelectric transformer. |
