PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sizing agent-applied carbon fiber that has superior adhesiveness between a carbon fiber and a matrix resin, and superior long-term stability and high-order processability, and to provide a method for producing the sizing agent-applied carbon fiber.SOLUTION: A sizing agent-applied carbon fiber is obtained by applying a sizing agent on the carbon fiber, the sizing agent obtained by compounding 100 pts. mass of a component (A) obtained by mixing two or more kinds of epoxy compounds having specific weight average molecular weight at a specific ratio and 0.1 to 25 pts. mass of one or more compounds selected from the group consisting of a tertiary amine compound, a tertiary amine salt, a quaternary ammonium salt, a quaternary phosphonium salt and a phosphine compound, as a component (B). |
