PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intercom system, a control method, and a program which protect a child or other persons staying at home from a suspicious person.SOLUTION: When a call button 203 of an intercom slave set 101 is pressed (step S401), whether to give a visitor permission to speak is determined (step S402) before speaking with the visitor is started. If speaking is permitted and it is determined that a child tries to answer (step S410) from the result of analysis of a voice of a person staying in the residence who answers using an intercom master unit 102 (step S409), speaking is performed between a portable telephone terminal 103 and the visitor. |
