PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magenta toner that ensures charge stability even when a large amount of printing is performed.SOLUTION: In a magenta toner comprising a binder resin, and magenta toner particles containing a magenta coloring agent including a quinacridone pigment, 1 to 20 pts. mass of a phthalimide methylated quinacridone compound is contained as the magenta coloring agent based on 100 pts. mass of the quinacridone pigment. The magenta coloring agent preferably has the dispersion particle diameter in the magenta toner particles of 10 to 25 nm in the number-basis median diameter. |
