PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system for producing calcium carbonate, wherein fine powder consisting of waste concrete, obtained after separating an aggregate from the waste concrete, is recovered.SOLUTION: A method for producing calcium carbonate includes: a step of extracting a calcium ion in fine powder consisting of waste concrete by supplying water, acetic acid, and the fine powder to the inside of a main reaction container 1 and stirring them; a step of separating a reaction residue from a solution containing the calcium ion by using first filtration equipment 18; a step of feeding the solution from which the reaction residue is separated, to the inside of a sub-reaction container 23; a step of causing calcium carbonate deposition by supplying carbon dioxide to the inside of the sub-reaction container and stirring the solution and the carbon dioxide; and a step of recovering the calcium carbonate deposited, by using second filtration equipment 36. |
