PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal fan with a small size in an axial direction and generating quiet sound.SOLUTION: A sidewall 33A of the centrifugal fan has a gap enlarged portion 334A in which a gap with an impeller enlarges as going toward the downstream in a rotating direction of a rotary part. The centrifugal fan has a baseboard including an electronic components mounting part 41A, which is located in a region surrounded by the gap enlarged portion, impeller, and an exhaust port. Therefore, a motor, the impeller, and the electronic components mounting part do not overlap in the axial direction, which can suppress the axially directed dimension of the centrifugal fan. In the circumferential direction with the center axis laid in the middle, the electronic components mounting part is arranged in the position 180° upstream when measured from the center of the exhaust port and its adjacent region downstream thereof, this means that the mounting part is located in a region where the wind tunnel is wider, which can suppress the wind noise generated by the electronic components mounting part. |
