A tactile presentation device (10) is provided with: a chassis (100) that comprises a top surface-side chassis (101) and a bottom surface-side chassis (102) and has an internal space; a touch panel (30) that is fixed to the top surface-side chassis (101) and has an operation surface; an actuator (20) provided in the internal space; and a vibration-transmitting member (40) provided between the actuator (20) and the touch panel (30). The top surface-side chassis (101) comprises: a top surface section (1101) having a top surface-side opening (111) formed so that the operation surface of the touch panel (30) is exposed to the outside; and a side surface section (1102) that is formed on the peripheral edge of the top surface section (1101). The actuator (20) is fixed to the side surface section (1102).
