A graphics display method and system based on the virtualization technology are applied in the technical field of communications. The graphics display method based on the virtualization technology includes: a virtual machine determining whether a currently initiated application process is an application of 3D graphics display; if it is an application of 3D graphics display, the virtual machine acquiring a resource allocated thereto for displaying 3D graphics; and the virtual machine loading a driver of 3D graphics display thereon according to the acquired resource so as to display 3D graphics. 3D graphics can be displayed dynamically.
