PURPOSE: A connector for a pipe is provided to strongly fix the inserted pipe by firstly clamping outer circumferential surface of the pipe with a grip piece of a grip ring and secondly clamping the outer circumferential surface of the pipe with a latching hook of a clamping member. CONSTITUTION: A connector for a pipe comprises a socket (10), a grip ring (20), a washer (30), a sealing unit (40), a clamping member (50), and a cap nut (60). The grip ring includes a first curved unit to expand strength limits according to flection and deformation by expanding surface area of a flange. The washer is interposed between the sealing unit and the grip ring and prevent the damage of the sealing unit due to the contact with the grip ring.
