PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accelerator device capable of reducing the amount of foreign matter entering the inside of a support member.SOLUTION: An opening 151 from which a pedal arm 25 projects is formed in an opening part 15. The opening 151 is formed of a first partition wall 16, a second partition wall 18, a third partition wall 17, and a fourth partition wall 19. The first partition wall 16 positioned on the accelerator closing direction side is formed so that an angle α between an extension surface P1 of an outer surface 165 and an extension surface P2 of an upper surface 253 on the accelerator closing direction side of the pedal arm 25 becomes an obtuse angle. The third partition wall 17 positioned on the accelerator opening direction side is formed so that an angle &bgr; between an extension surface P3 of an outer surface 175 and an extension surface P4 of an under surface 254 on the accelerator opening direction side of the pedal arm 25 becomes an obtuse angle. A cross-sectional shape of an exposure surface 35 close to the opening 151 has a circular arc shape having a point on the axis C as a center. Thus, intrusion of the foreign matter of approaching the vicinity of the opening 151 can be prevented. |
