PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump unit which prevents a decrease in heat absorption capability of a heat sink when a snow cover is attached thereto.SOLUTION: A heat pump unit 10 includes a housing 15 with ventilation ports 13, 14 to which snow covers 11, 12 can be fitted and a fan 16 taking outside air into the housing 15 from the ventilation ports 13, 14 and sending the outside air to a heat sink 17 to accelerate heat absorption by the heat sink 17. In addition, the heat pump unit has a rotating speed change means of switching the fan 16 to a high-speed mode of a rotating speed faster than a normal rotating speed, and the rotating speed change means places the fan 16 in the high-speed mode when the snow covers 11, 12 are fitted to the ventilation ports 13, 14. |
