PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device and a television receiver device that prevent optical sheets from being detached from locking parts for locking the optical sheets and that can be reduced in thickness.SOLUTION: The protruding dimension of protruding portions of locking parts 40 protruding from through-holes 4b of holding parts 4 before a display panel is disposed is longer than the dimension between the through-holes 4b and the display panel after the display panel is disposed. When optical sheets 5 are disposed in front of a light guide plate 3, the protruding portions with a sufficient length protrude from insertion holes 51 of flaps 50. Consequently, although the optical sheets 5 may curl up by the action of external force (wind, for example) midway through assembly work, the optical sheets 5 are not detached from the locking parts 40. When the display panel is disposed, the protruding portions are reduced in a direction perpendicular to the light guide plate 3 by pressure from the display panel, thereby reducing the thickness of a television receiver device. |
