PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new base isolation implement formed into a shape that can downsize the whole thereof in spite of exerting base isolation performance against both vertical shaking and horizontal shaking when an earthquake occurs.SOLUTION: This base isolation implement is structured such that a bottom plate 1 and a top plate 2 are kept in a facing state keeping a predetermined distance by being connected to each other at the mutual center part thereof through a principal post 3 for base isolation made of rubber material, a required number of vertical shaking-absorbing rubber column bodies 4 are arranged around the principal post 3 to be set at equal distances and at equal intervals from each other, and heretofore known members to perform base isolation in the direction of horizontal shaking are interposed in space parts between the lower ends of the respective rubber column bodies 4 and the bottom plate 1, and in space parts between the upper ends of the respective rubber column bodies 4 and the top plate 2. |
