PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a load that occurs in a system that carries out and shares processing by plural apparatuses when the allocations of the processing have been changed.SOLUTION: A method includes the steps of: determining whether a value of a load caused by transfer processing to transmit data received from one or more first processing apparatuses to one or more second processing apparatuses in response to a request from the second processing apparatuses exceeds a predetermined threshold; upon determining that the value of the load exceeds the predetermined threshold, counting, for each of the one or more first processing apparatuses, the number of second processing apparatuses that request data transmitted by the first processing apparatus; identifying a first processing apparatus that is a transmission source of data transferred in the transfer processing to be allocated to another transfer apparatus performing the transfer processing, based on the counted number; and transmitting a change request requesting that the transfer processing of data transmitted by the identified first processing apparatus is to be allocated to the another transfer apparatus, to an apparatus managing allocation of the transfer processing.
