PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum cleaner which suppresses flying and scattering of dust when throwing away the dust by solidifying the dust stored in a dust collecting chamber.SOLUTION: A circulation air path is formed to communicate with the dust collecting chamber 15, a first communication port 22a, a first communication path 37, a first opening 35, a moisture conditioning container 33, a second opening 36, a second communication path 38, a second communication port 22b, and the dust collecting chamber 15, in this order. A moisture absorbing/discharging material 34 having air permeability is arranged on the circulation air path of the moisture conditioning container 33 so that air with a high humidity is generated by transferring the air from the electric fan 10 to the moisture absorbing/discharging material 34, the dust in the dust collecting chamber 15 is humidified by natural convection, fibers contained in the dust are softened and the dust is easily compressed, and the dust is dried and solidified by moisture absorbing action when the temperature of the moisture absorbing/discharging material is low. Thereby, the flying and scattering of dust is suppressed and easy to throw away the dust into a dustbin when throwing away the dust stored in the dust collecting chamber, and a clean and convenient vacuum cleaner is provided. |
