PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable abnormality in some regions of a solar cell panel array to be inspected precisely.SOLUTION: A solar cell panel array consisting of a plurality of solar cell panels is connected to a power conditioner 15 which exerts maximum power tracking control. LED light whose illuminance changes in a prescribed cycle is irradiated upon some regions of the solar cell panel array by using an LED light source device 20 and a light source drive circuit 30. A lock-in amplifier 43 accepts as its input a current via a current detection resistor 42 and extracts a current component changing in a prescribed cycle. A measurement device 40 calculates from this current component a current component due to the fluctuation portion of illuminance changing in a prescribed cycle and defines it to be a power generation current, and it also detects a voltage from a voltage detector 41 as a power generation voltage. By using the power generation current and the power generation voltage, the measurement device 40 calculates a power generation amount due to the fluctuation portion of illuminance changing in a prescribed cycle, and by using this power generation amount, it determines whether the some regions of the solar cell panel array are good or not. |
