PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation image detector maintaining the resolution in six directions before and after binning of three pixels.SOLUTION: Charges of three pixels are read collectively in a radiation detector 42 for a plurality of pixel groups each consisting of three pixels, out of a plurality of pixels 20 of hexagonal pixel region, and charge signals of these three pixels are synthesized and integrated sequentially by means of a charge amplifier. Furthermore, for a specific pixel group, the charge signal of two pixels out of the three pixels constituting that pixel group, and the charge signal of one remaining pixel are added while shifting the integration timing of the same charge amplifier, thus performing the binning of three pixels. |
