PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sewing machine capable of making an unnecessarily long material to be sewn, which is drawn out from guide means when being cut, as short as possible.SOLUTION: The material to be sewn, which is drawn out from the guide means, is held after being cut and is moved while being held, so that the material to be sewn, which is drawn out from the guide means, is pulled back. Thereby, the unnecessarily long material to be sewn, which is drawn out from the guide means when being cut, can be made as short as possible so as to have a length necessary for reliably sewing the material to be sewn on an object at the start of sewing. As a result, the part of the material to be sewn, which has been conventionally wasted without being sewn on the object, can be minimized. |
