PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emergency reporting system by which a situation can be avoided where an emergency cannot be reported to outside, such as an emergency reporting center, from a vehicle when an accident occurs in the vehicle.SOLUTION: An emergency reporting system 10 is configured such that when an accident occurs in a vehicle 12, the action of an airbag system 42 causes a display audio device 40 to monitor the startup state of an emergency reporting application 36 on a portable terminal 28, and different emergency reporting processing is performed according to the startup state of the emergency reporting application 36. It is therefore possible to avoid as much a possible a situation in which an emergency cannot be reported to an external device such as in an emergency reporting center 14. |
