PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve energy saving and the exhaust gas quantity reduction of the vehicle traveling by deceleration by the inertia travel that maximizes the use of the kinetic energy that the vehicle has.SOLUTION: Knowing the inertia travel deceleration α(v) corresponding to vehicle traveling speed v, and the maximum inertia traveling distance L' between from the current point and current speed v0 to the target point reach time speed vmin is calculated. When the maximum inertia traveling distance L' is the distance L between the current point and the target point or more, the inertia travel is performed between from the current point and the current speed to the target point, and the vehicle reaches the target point. |
