The device has a power transmission unit (23) co-operating and engaging with a kinematic unit (13) during movement of the kinematic unit. The power transmission unit is formed with a block-shaped spring mechanism (29) that is made of plastic such as thermoplastic polymer i.e. polyurethane, and/or resin. The kinematic unit co-operates a coupling element (25) with the spring mechanism of the power transmission unit for attenuation and/or acceleration of a movement of the kinematic unit. The spring mechanism is arranged in a housing (27).
