The present invention relates to a channel correcting method and to an ultrasonic device using same, wherein the channel correcting method includes the steps of: generating an ultrasonic signal for each channel and receiving an echo signal from the reflection of the generated ultrasonic signal after inserting a probe into a cover-type tester; confirming whether the strength and phase of the echo signal meet a uniformity condition for each channel; and creating compensation data for compensating for the intensity and phase for each channel in order to meet the uniformity condition.
