<p>The objective of the present invention is to provide a flexible display device wherein a terminal part of a device substrate and a terminal part of a flexible circuit substrate can be connected electrically with high reliability by means of an anisotropic conductive film (ACF). This flexible display device (1) is constructed so as to be equipped with: a device substrate (110), equipped with a flexible substrate (111a), and a display part (101) and a first terminal part (114) formed on the flexible substrate; and a flexible circuit substrate (300) equipped with a second terminal part (320). In addition, the first terminal part and the second terminal part are connected by means of an anisotropic conductive film (400) containing conductive particles (410), and an electrode layer (105) and a buffer layer (104a) are provided between the flexible substrate and the first terminal part. When the sum of the product of the average grain diameter and the elasticity of the core part (411) of the conductive particles and the product of twice the average thickness and the elasticity of a metal layer (412) covering the core part is divided by the sum of the product of the average thickness and the elasticity of the first terminal part, the product of the average thickness and the elasticity of the buffer layer, and the product of the average thickness and the elasticity of the electrode layer, the value is 1.5 or less.</p> |
