METHOD FOR BACKING UP STARTUP INFORMATION ABOUT STORAGE DEVICE

Disclosed is an embodiment of a method for backing up startup information about a storage device. The method comprises: reading automatically startup information in a storage device during the boot of an operating system, the startup information being information required to start up the storage device; and backing up the startup information in a BIOS Flash ROM. Key information such as startup information about a storage device is backed up in a BIOS Flash ROM, thus improving the security of the key information.
