PURPOSE: A transmitter array distortion compensation apparatus and a method thereof are provided to compensate the distortion of a transmitter array by using the minimum DPD (Digital Pre-Distorter). CONSTITUTION: Each of envelope detectors (125-1~125-8) is connected to a power amplifier. An envelope signal is detected from a signal which is outputted from the power amplifier. A control unit (129) determines whether to operate the power amplifier by using the envelope signal outputted from the envelope detector. An ADC (Analog to Digital Converter) (113) generates an I signal and a Q signal by performing analog/digital conversion of the signal outputted from the power amplifier.
