<p>The invention relates to a rivet setting device for setting a blind rivet containing a plurality of clamping plates having flat boundary surfaces for acting on the mandrel of the blind rivet. Said clamping plates are disposed and guided in slots of a mounting. The mounting contains a cylindrical passage for the rivet mandrel. The slots extend in the longitudinal direction of the passage and radially. The width of the slots is less than the diameter of the passage for the rivet mandrel. The clamping plates can be moved radially in the slots to such an extent that the inner edges of said plates facing the passage can engage in the passage.</p> |
