PURPOSE: Driving device of a liquid crystal display device and driving method thereof are provided to prevent degradation of image quality by optimizing a bias voltage level of a common voltage supply end by display pattern of an image. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal panel (2) displays an image by having a plurality of pixel regions. A data driver (4) drives data lines of the liquid crystal panel. A timing controller (8) analyzes image data inputted from the outside, detects a display pattern of an image and outputs a bias voltage selection signal according to the detected image display pattern. A driving voltage generation unit (10) varies and applies the bias voltage level to correspond to the bias voltage selection signal and compensation outputs a common voltage level supplied to the liquid crystal panel.
