PURPOSE: A servo and an electrical discharge machine using a wire including the same are provided to vary the range of transferring a shaft forwards and backwards according to a state between the poles and prevent the smoothing voltage between the poles and the speed in the finishing process from being unstable. CONSTITUTION: A servo comprises a discharge voltage detecting unit, a discharge voltage smoothing unit, a first output unit, a second output unit, an interface unit, and a servo motor control unit. The discharge voltage smoothing unit levels the discharge voltage detected by the discharge voltage detecting unit. The interface unit uses the value of a command to transfer a shaft to control a servo motor. The servo motor control unit synchronizes the sampling time of the first output unit and the output time of the control value in the second output unit and controls the shaft of the servo motor to transfer by reading the value of the command.
