Medical device for administering a solution

The device has a communication unit allowing communication between a reservoir and a pumping unit, where the reservoir contains medical solution i.e. insulin, and a patient line adapted for connecting the device to a patient. A determination unit determines physico-chemical characteristics e.g. evaporation characteristics, of the solution based on time by using a mathematical model. A variation unit varies the administration of the solution based on a variation of concentration of the determined solution.
