CRYSTALLIZATION METHOD FOR ACINETOBACTER BAUMANNII PEPTIDOGLYCAN-ASSOCIATED LIPOPROTEIN

PURPOSE: A method for crystallizing Acinetobacter baumannii peptidoglycan-conjugated lipoprotein is provided to enable easy X-ray analysis, and to obtain a single crystal of protein with excellent crystallinity. CONSTITUTION: A method for crystallizing Acinetobacter baumannii peptidoglycan-conjugated lipoprotein comprises the step of crystallizing by a vapour diffusion method using a crystallization solution containing potassium monohydrogen phosphate (K2HPO4) and sodium dihydrogen phosphate (NaH2PO4) as precipitants and phosphate citrate as a buffer solution. The lipoprotein is prepared by fusing 4-10 histidine tags to a protein for easy purification at an amino terminal. The precipitant is 0.01-10 M of potassium monohydrogen phosphate and 0.01-10 M of sodium dihydrogenphosphate.
