PURPOSE: A rudder and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to effectively transfer the rotational force of a rudder stock to a rudder body by widening a coupling area for a casting blade and the rudder body. CONSTITUTION: A rudder comprises a rudder body(110), a casting(120), and a rudder stock(130). A supporting block is formed inside the rudder body. The casting is inserted and fixed in the rudder body. The rudder stock is press-fitted in an insertion groove. The casting comprises a casting body and a casting blade. The insertion groove is formed in the casting body. The casting blade is extended from the exterior of the casting body in a radial direction of the casting body. |
