An amplify-and-forward cooperative diversity method using phase slew in a wireless communication system is provided to improve diversity performance as a base station applies different weighting coefficients according to channel phase information and combines the messages received from a transmitting terminal and a relay terminal. A transmitting terminal broadcasts a message to other terminals, which play a relay role for the message, and a base station(201). Using the channel phase information fed back from the base station, a relay terminal rotates the phase of the message transmitted from the transmitting terminal(202). Then the relay terminal amplifies the phase-rotated message and retransmits the amplified message to the base station(203). The base station applies different weighting coefficients according to channel phase information and combines the messages received from the transmitting terminal and the relay terminal(204). |
