PURPOSE: A method for automatically recognizing kinds of a vehicle by an immobilizer and a method for controlling the vehicle using the same are provided to control the vehicle by an ECU which is automatically recognized with the immobilizer according to the kind of the vehicle after mounting a control program of various vehicles inside the ECU.
