<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently evaluate the performance of a digital signal receiver. <P>SOLUTION: A pattern generating portion 120 generates a digital signal that includes a data signal modulated by a carrier modulation system and a pilot signal modulated by a pilot modulation system different from the carrier modulation system. A synchronization determination portion 132 acquires a value of a control variable at a change point which is changed from a state that synchronization between the transmission/reception of the pilot signal included in the digital signal received by a receiver 110 is impossible to a state that the transmission/reception is possible. A measuring portion 134 converts the value of the control variable acquired by the synchronization determination portion into a value corresponding to the carrier modulation system from a correlation of an index value with respect to the control variable between the pilot modulation system and a carrier modulation system, repeats processing for measuring the index value to the data signal included in the digital signal received by the receiver by setting the converted value as a first measurement point, and acquires the value of the control variable which corresponds to a reference value of BER. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
