<p>An annular tool (1) with an angle scale (2) is rotatable about an axis to measure the rotational position of a shaft. The tool has an annular regions (1.1,1.2) at both ends, to be connected with the shaft, and to comprise the angle scale, respectively. A circular ring having a geometrical extension in the axis direction of the tool, is arranged between the annular regions. The geometrical extension of the circular ring in the axial direction is three or five times smaller than the greatest geometrical extension of the annular region on which the angle scaling is arranged, in the direction of the axis. An independent claim is also included for angle measuring system.</p> |
