Device for fixing a cable, rope or the like, which device comprises a pivotally supporting, basically vertically lined shaft (8) of which the upper surface (9) is provided with a hook (10) for accomodating a cable. Means (11-14) are provided to bring and hold the shaft (8) in the desired position. Furthermore there is a cam (15), which is provided in such stationary way that this at least for a large part closes when the hook (10) is in its neutral position. Means for rotating the shaft (8), in which the hook (10) is provided, are formed by a fixed chain wheel (11) provided on the shaft (8), on which a chain (12) runs, in which each of both ends (13) of the chain (11) is connected to a remotely operable hydraulic cylinder (14). |
