PURPOSE: A graphene device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to facilitate handling by forming the graphene device on a metal thin film and transferring the graphene device to an insulator. CONSTITUTION: A channel layer (C1) includes graphene. A source electrode is formed on the first area of the channel layer. A drain electrode is formed on the second part of the channel layer. A gate insulating layer (GI1) is formed on a capping layer. A gate (G1) is formed on the gate insulating layer.
