PURPOSE: A messenger buoy for a vessel having a caisson pipe is provided to prevent accidents caused by drift ice around a vessel. CONSTITUTION: A messenger buoy (170) for a vessel having a caisson comprises connection hooks, a hollow body, a water inlet, a compressed air inlet, and a water outlet. A messenger wire of a main winch (150) is placed in the connection hooks to be wound by the main winch installed on a hull (110). The connection hooks are fixed to the outer surface of the body. The body is filled with water or compressed air or discharges water or compressed air. The water inlet is installed on the surface of the body to fill the body with water. The compressed air inlet is installed on the surface of the body to fill the body with compressed air. The water outlet is installed on the surface of the body to discharge the filled water to the outside. |
