PURPOSE: A vehicle maintenance device is provided to enable a repairman to easily read a vehicle detail file. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle (1) includes an electronic control device (3) and a memory (8) which stores a vehicle detail file including the information related to the parameter set of the electronic control device and is connected to a data bus (4). A vehicle maintenance device (6) includes a connector (17) for connecting the database of the vehicle. The vehicle maintenance device includes a plurality of program modules which programs the electronic control device through the data bus.
