PURPOSE: An environmentally-friendly multipurpose carrier having detachable hold and power driven vessel is provided to reduce docking and berthing time by allowing a power driven vessel to tow a hold. CONSTITUTION: An environmentally-friendly multipurpose carrier having detachable hold and power driven vessel comprises a towing part (250). A hold (200) and a power driven vessel (100) are detachably connected to the carrier using a towing device. Freight (300) is loaded on the hold. The power driven vessel tows the hold. The towing part is extended to the front of the bow portion of the hold. The towing device is installed on the deck (120) of the power driven vessel, and the towing part is rotatably connected thereto.
