PURPOSE: A spindle motor is provided to prevent reading or writing errors of an optical disk by improving combination force between a rotation shaft and a turntable fixing an optical disk. CONSTITUTION: A spindle motor (200) includes a bearing assembly (210), a stator (220), a rotation shaft (230), a rotor (240), a turntable (260), a center corn (270), a base plate (205), an absorption magnet (250), and a circuit substrate (207). The bearing assembly includes a bearing (211) and a bearing housing (215). The stator includes a core (221) combined with the bearing housing and a coil (225) wound on the core. The rotor includes a yoke (245) forming a yoke boring unit (243) combined with the rotation shaft and a magnet (248) placed on the yoke. The turntable forms a through hole (262) inserted into an outer surface of the yoke boring unit and the yoke boring unit is fixed on a yoke by using a bending flange unit (243a). The center is inserted into the rotation shaft and placed on the turntable. An accepting groove (264) includes the flange unit in a part corresponding to the flange unit.
