<p>A method for restoring the missing data packets comprises the steps as following: dividing the data to be transmitted into one or more data packets, ranking the data packets according to importance, and determining parity rule of said data packets; transmitting terminal carrying out the calculation on the basis of predetermined arithmetic for said ranked data packets according to said parity rule to generate the corresponding parity units; the transmitting terminal transmitting the data packets in turn according to the ranked order to the receiving terminal and transmitting corresponding parity units to the receiving terminal; the receiving terminal restoring the missing data packets on the basis of the received data packets, parity units and parity rule. The resistibility to the data packets missing is improved by means of the present invention.</p>
