摘要 <p>PURPOSE: An optical semiconductor-using parking lot lighting system is provided to reduce parking time by automatically leading a vehicle in a parking lot to an empty parking space. CONSTITUTION: An entry sensing unit (110) at the entrance of a parking lot senses the entry of a vehicle. Multiple parking leading lights (130) having optical semiconductor elements located along the roads in the parking lot. Multiple parking sensors (140) scattered across several parking spaces in the parking lot senses whether a parking space is occupied or not. A central control unit (160) gets an approval for an empty parking space from the parking sensors. The central control unit controls the parking leading lights in order to guide a vehicle towards one of the empty parking spaces.
