COSMETIC COMPOSITION USING CHAMAECYPARIS OBTUSA SUPERCRITICAL EXTRACT AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a cosmetic composition using a supercritical extract of Chamaecyparis obtuse is provided to enhance extract yield and to minimize loss of aromatic ingredients of Chamaecyparis obtusa. CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic composition contains a supercritical extract of Chamaecyparis obtusa contains which is prepared by supercritical fluid extraction. The extract is prepared by adding supercritical carbon dioxide to Chamaecyparis obtusa and extracting at 35-45 deg. C and at 100-500 bar for 30-240 minutes. A method for manufacturing the cosmetic composition comprises the steps of: drying Chamaecyparis obtusa; extracting the dried Chamaecyparis obtusa by supercritical fluid extraction to obtain a Chamaecyparis obtusa extract; adding 0.01-10 wt% of the extract; and manufacturing in a form of a lotion, a cream, an essence, a pack, a makeup base, a foundation, a cleansing oil, a cleansing foam, a hair oil, a hair shampoo, and a hair rinse.
