PURPOSE: A method of searching for an access point (AP) using a neighboring Zigbee node is provided to effectively search for a WiFi AP using a low-power Zigbee interface. CONSTITUTION: A first mobile device that could not found a WiFi AP is located around a second mobile device. The first mobile device receives channel information of the WiFi AP from the second mobile terminal that found the WiFi AP. The first mobile terminal finds the WiFi AP using the received channel information. The second mobile terminal finds the WiFi AP by itself. The channel information comprises information of detected, not detected, and unknown by each channel with respect to all WiFi channels.
