PURPOSE: A sodium-sulfur secondary battery and a manufacturing method of metal case thereof are provided to shorten polishing time and prevent dust generation in a coating layer formation process. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a metal case of the sodium - sulfur secondary battery comprises the following steps: preparing a metal case main body in which an concave internal space is formed; and forming a coating layer(132) by welding coating powder in the metal case main body. The coating layer formation step is formed by spraying high pressure gas and coating powder inside the metal case main body by using a low-temperature sprayer. The coating powder comprises one or more of the following: nickel -chrome alloy, chrome-iron alloy and cobalt-chrome-tungsten alloy'. |
