<p>PURPOSE: A lubricant composition for a fluid dynamic bearing and a hard disc drive (HDD) motor using the same are provided to have low density characteristics for shock resistance and low temperature operational stability of the fluid dynamic bearing motor. CONSTITUTION: A lubricant composition for a fluid dynamic bearing includes ester group base oil, and an additive having the content of 0.01-3.00 weight % of the base oil. The lubricant composition for a fluid dynamic bearing has a density equal to or less than 0.900 g/cm^3 at 15°C, and has kinematic viscosity equal to or less than 9.50 centistokes[cSt]at 40°C. The viscosity of the base oil is equal to or less than 2.30 centipoise[cP]at 100°C. The additive includes more than one selected from a group comprising antioxidant, anti-abrasive agent, anticorrosive agent, extreme-pressure additive, viscosity index improver, anti-static material and deactivator. The additive includes the antioxidant which is 2,2'- methylene - bis (4- methyl -6-tert- butylphehnol) (2,2'-methylene-bis (4-methyl-6-tertbutylphenol)).</p> |
