PURPOSE: A ferritic stainless steel plate with a superior ridging resistance and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to adjust a maximum austenite rate so as to prevent impact property from being deteriorated and restrain generation of surface defects. CONSTITUTION: A ferritic stainless steel plate contains carbon of 0.02~0.08 weight%, nitrogen of 0.01~0.05 weight%, silicon of 0.01~0.5 weight%, manganese of 0.01~0.7 weight%, phosphorus of 0.001~0.035 weight%, sulfur of 0.001~0.005 weight%, chrome of 15.0~17.0 weight%, nickel of 0.001~0.5 weight%, copper of 0.01~0.5 weight%, aluminum of 0.01~0.2 weight%, titanium of 0.01~0.1 weight%, residual Fe and other impurities. Maximum austenite fraction is 0~30% or less. |
