<p>PURPOSE: A wind power generation system using the vehicle wind of moving body and a controlling method thereof are provided to store discontinuous alternating current power, which is generated by the vehicle wind of moving body in a wind power generation system, in an energy storage unit and then continuously supply the discontinuous alternating current power in an electric installation, thereby evenly supplying high-quality power. CONSTITUTION: A wind power generation system using the vehicle wind of moving body includes a wind power generator (10), an energy storage unit (30), and a main switch (50). The wind power generator is installed on the outer side of rail and produces power by using vehicle wind which is generated by a moving body which runs on the rail. The energy storage unit stores the power produced in the wind power generator. The main switch supplies the power stored in the energy storage unit to the electric installation on the rail as the power for automatic electricity supplying or supplies to another electric system through the system interconnection.
