PURPOSE: A dynamic management method of an optical network unit (ONU) and a wavelength division multiplexing-passive optical network (WDM-PON) system for the same are provided to dynamically manage an ONU. CONSTITUTION: In an inter process communication (IPC) between an optical line termination (OLT) (100) and an ONU (200), a signal is transmitted using a unicast MAC address. An IPC route to the ONU is determined by ONU alarm information including state information about a link failure and IPC failure to the IPC route. The ONU replays IPC data including the MAC address of a destination, which is not the same with the MAC address of the ONU, to a management port that is the opposite of a management port receiving the IPC data.
